Hello, Kelly here,

I was born and raised in Southern California, surrounded by oceans and mountains.

I was drawn to art at a very young age and worked in creative endeavors as well as higher education until at age forty, I began painting.

As a classically trained oil painter, faces and the figure seem to be what sets my heart afire. I love to capture the strength and sensuality of women, even when they don’t realize how much they possess.

I have been fortunate to study under my favorite artists, Romel de la Torre, Stanka Kordic, and Michelle Dunaway.

I teach painting retreats in France, Ireland, Portugal, Outer Banks, NC and from my studio and gallery at the Brewery Artist Lofts in DTLA.
